"Nice spot, but go early if you want a seat"
I liked this place overall. It has a good vibe and it’s definitely worth stopping by, but seating can be a little tricky when it’s busy. that’s kind of expected at a popular spot, so I’d just plan ahead or go a bit earlier if you don’t want to wait around for a table.

"Couldnt tell what was in it"
I was frustrated because the ingredient info felt kind of tucked away. I couldnt really check the allergens properly before buying, which made me unsure about the product.

"Hard to browse and not worth the hassle"
I found kokoblack.com frustrating to use. The layout felt cluttered, and I had to click around way too much just to find basic chocolate boxes. The menu wasn’t very clear either, and a few pages made me feel like I was going in circles.

The chocolates might be nice, but when the site is this annoying to shop, I start thinking twice, especially if I’m spending a bit more than I would on regular chocolates. For the price, I expected the browsing experience to feel smoother and easier.

I was browsing Koko Black hoping to find an easy gift, but I felt a bit let down by the options. Maybe I expected too much because the prices are on the higher side, but I just assumed that meant there would be a lot more variety. A lot of the items kind of looked the same to me, and I couldn’t really find many simple gift choices that stood out. I ended up clicking around for a while and then just gave up without buying anything.

"Great chocolate, but why is the good stuff always gone?"
I really do like ordering from Koko Black, the chocolate is always lovely. But a few things I wanted were out of stock again, which is a bit frustrating. Isn’t it always the way that the popular ones disappear first? I still managed to get something nice, so I’m not too disappointed, but I do wish they’d keep the favourites available more often.

"That limited edition one was kind of disappointing"
I ordered the seasonal stuff thinking it would be something special, but it was bland for what it cost. It looked really nice online and all that, but once I actually tried it, it just didn’t feel worth it.

"Allergen details feel a little too tucked away"
I really do like the site, and the chocolates look amazing. But as someone who checks allergen info carefully, it felt a bit inconsistent. Some items had decent details, while others sent me clicking around and still wondering about traces or shared equipment. Part of me wondered if that info just isn’t put front and center because they’d rather you focus on the product photos, which I get, but it makes ordering feel less easy. It’s not a bad experience overall, I just wish everything allergy-related was clearly in one place.

I ordered from Koko Black chocolate was really nice, no complaints there. But I had question about my delivery and it took way too long to get any reply. When they finally got back to me, they were polite, but by then it was kind of too late to be helpful. For the price, I was expecting better customer support. It wasn’t terrible experience, just frustrating, and I probably won’t be in hurry to order online again

"The box showed up dented and the chocolates…"
The box showed up dented and the chocolates inside looked like they’d been tossed around in transit. I know companies love to say everything is “carefully packaged” and all that, but that definitely wasn’t my experience. It didn’t feel nice enough to give as a gift

"Not at all what I expected"
Ugh, I was disappointed as soon as I tried it. The chocolate tasted kind of old and waxy to me, and the flavors were just flat instead of rich. For the price, the pieces felt surprisingly cheap. I really thought it would be better, but nope, I wouldn’t buy it again.

"Store felt a bit messy and not very clean"
I stopped by a Koko Black store after looking at kokoblack.com, i was a bit let down. The tables felt sticky, there were crumbs on the floor, and the bin area looked like it needed attention. I don’t know, maybe I just caught it at a bad time, but it didn’t really feel like a nice place to sit and enjoy chocolate. For a brand like Koko Black, I guess I expected the store to feel cleaner and more looked after...

I thought click and collect would be quick and easy, but it really wasn’t. It took way too long, like way too long, and ended up being more of a hassle than just shopping normally.

"I was excited to open my order..."
I was excited to open my order, but a few of the chocolates were missing, and one of the packs was totally different from what I ordered. The ones I did get tasted fine, so that part wasn’t the issue. It’s just annoying because I paid for a specific box and didn’t really get that. Also, I had been looking forward to the missing ones, so yeah, kind of disappointing.

"Way too long of a wait"
The line was way too much. I stood there for ages and it barely seemed to move. The staff looked like they were doing their best, but still, waiting that long just for chocolate didn’t feel worth it. Frustrating overall.

"Good chocolate, stressful delivery"
The chocolate itself was really nice, so no complaints there. But the delivery was late and the tracking barely updated, which just gave me a bad feeling the whole time. I wouldn’t really count on it if you need it as a gift or for a specific date.

"Super easy to use, no fuss"
The site was really simple to use. I found the chocolates I wanted in maybe a minute or two, and checkout only took a couple of quick steps. The photos loaded fine on my phone as well, which was nice. Overall it was a smooth order with no annoying pop-ups every 5 seconds.

"Nice shop, but they really ruined the vibe"
I went into Koko Black expecting a cosy little treat, the shop does look nice at first. The dark colours and tidy displays are sleek, so I’ll give them that.
But the place felt way too crowded, and that’s on them for cramming everything in like that. The music was fine, but the seating area was so tight it was hard to actually relax, which is kind of the whole point when you’re paying those prices.
The staff weren’t rude or anything, but nobody really made the experience feel special either. For a place that charges like it’s some premium escape, they seriously need to sort out the atmosphere. 3 stars from me.

"Nice chocolates, but the tracking was frustrating"
I ordered from Koko Black and, to be fair, the chocolates were lovely once they finally arrived. But the tracking was hopeless. I had days with no clear updates and wasn’t even sure if the order had actually been sent. For what you pay, I expected a much smoother process. It ended up feeling like they made it my problem to chase and worry about where it was, which took some of the enjoyment out of it...

"Nice site, but kinda slow on mobile"
The site looks good overall, but when I’m on my phone the pages take a bit longer to load than I expected. It’s not unusable or anything, just kind of slows things down when you’re trying to browse quickly, so maybe if the mobile speed was improved.....
